The Folly Inn, situated near the
small village of Adstock on the main
Buckingham to Aylesbury Road. The Inn
offers comfortable letting
rooms at reasonable prices just
5 miles outside of the centre of
Buckingham.
The Inn is the perfect base from
which to explore this wonderful part of the
country. The main attraction in Buckingham
is the Old Gaol, which dominates the town
centre, and is well worth visiting. Take a
step back in time at this historic prison
and learn about the history of the town.
The area is perfect for walkers with mile
upon mile of countryside just waiting to be
explored.

E
arly post-war efforts by
the Lagonda Car Club and Bill Boddy to
amuse the owners of light cars were noticed
by the VSCC when that club accepted light
cars as sports cars. This was done by
President Lawrence Pomeroy who proclaimed
"the fundamental definition of a sports car
is a car that needs a sportsman to drive
it". Politically sexual correctness
had not then unsheathed its fingernails and
the Section was happily set up for both
boys and girls with its first meeting at
the Folly Inn, Adstock, in April
